Case Study — Zoho Desk Portal Implementation

aboutGOLF gives its partners a portal built for the work they actually do.

CubeYogi configured and customised aboutGOLF's Zoho Desk Help Center experience for partners and customers — bringing support tickets, Knowledge Base content, community discussions, profile management, and partner referrals into one branded self-service experience.

The Client & Context

A golf technology business needed more than a support inbox.

aboutGOLF designs and manufactures golf simulator systems used by dealers, coaches, retail partners, and golf facilities. Its ecosystem of hardware, software, and installation partners depends on two very different audiences getting fast, accurate answers: implementation partners who need documentation, referral tools, and a direct line to CubeYogi's team, and end customers who need product support and self-service help. Rather than routing both groups through a single generic inbox, aboutGOLF needed a dedicated Zoho Desk Help Center built around each audience's actual workflow.

The Challenge

External users needed a single, guided path from question to resolution.

Find Answers

Structured knowledge, not scattered documents

Partners and customers needed a structured Knowledge Base for product specs, manuals, and setup guidance — searchable and organised by topic instead of buried in email threads.

Get Support

A visible path from ticket to resolution

When self-service wasn't enough, users needed a proper HelpDesk flow: submit a ticket, track its status, and see progress without chasing updates.

Work With Partners

A channel for partner-to-partner activity

Partners needed community forum access to discuss and collaborate, plus a direct action to make a referral — with the aboutGOLF team able to moderate and govern it.

The CubeYogi Approach

We treated the portal as a service experience, not a collection of pages.

Customer Experience

The same service foundation supports customers without forcing them into the partner journey.

Customers get a parallel — but distinct — path through the same Zoho Desk foundation: their own branded home page, a Knowledge Base scoped to product support, and ticket submission and tracking, without partner-only features like the community forum or referral tools cluttering the experience.

Administration

Behind the portal, the aboutGOLF team got the controls to run it.
